FAQ · Clinic & treatments

The questions we hear most before a first visit, answered here. For anything specific to your own case, the consultation is the right place.

Appointments, prices & operations

Is there any advance payment or any cost before the appointment?

No; there is nothing to pay in advance. You pick the slot on the site, the clinic confirms, and you pay at the clinic.

How do I book an appointment?

From the appointment page: choose the day and time that suit you and confirm with one tap; the confirmation reaches you by email. If you get stuck on any step, send us a WhatsApp message and we will complete it with you.

What are the opening hours?

Saturday to Wednesday, 1 PM to 9 PM. The clinic is closed on Friday. Thursday is by prior appointment only: if that is the only day that works for you, message us on WhatsApp and we will set it up.

How long does a session take?

The session is exactly 30 minutes, with a short break between appointments. If you are on a tight schedule, make sure the time is enough and pick the slot that fits.

Are the prices the same if I am coming from abroad?

Yes; the prices are published on the site and are the same for everyone, Egyptians and patients arriving from the Gulf or abroad. There are no hidden prices or surprise extras at reception.

How can I know the price before I book?

Every service has its published price on the services page and in the treatment guides; laser hair-removal packages are calculated by pulses on the same page. The consultation determines whether the case needs a longer plan.

What happens if I miss my appointment?

You can rebook from the link in the confirmation email, any time before your slot. One simple rule: if you cannot make it, release the slot early so it opens for someone who needs it.

What should I prepare before the consultation?

Nothing special. If you have old reports or lab results about the condition, bring them with you; and if you use skin products or medicines, mention them in detail at the consultation.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes, a companion is welcome. If you would prefer privacy, just say so at reception and we will make sure you are comfortable.

Are there prices beyond the ones on the site?

No; the published price is what you pay. If the consultation shows your case needs a longer plan spread over sessions, that is explained before anything starts, and the decision is yours.

Can I walk in without an appointment?

Yes, we welcome walk-in visitors. But patients with a confirmed appointment are served first, so the fastest and safest route is to book on the site or over WhatsApp in advance; that is how you get your service with minimal waiting.

How do I pay?

Cash at the clinic, or Visa/Mastercard, or an InstaPay transfer. Everything is paid after the consultation; nothing is collected in advance.

How do I pay by InstaPay?

An InstaPay transfer is a way to settle AFTER the consultation only: the QR under the name yousradoma@instapay, the direct payment link, and the number 01223550200 are all on the appointment page so you know them before you come. Nothing is transferred in advance; once you settle, at the clinic or remotely after the consultation, send the receipt to the clinic on WhatsApp so we can confirm it on our side.

When exactly is the payment made?

Payment happens at the clinic after the treatment session; nothing is settled before that. Appointment confirmation and picking your slot are free of charge.

How fast are WhatsApp replies?

Dr. Yousra answers the WhatsApp herself as soon as she is free, so it is not an instant 24-hour line. Most quick questions already have their answer on this page, and if the appointment is urgent, pick it right away on the site.

Laser hair removal

Does laser work on every skin type?

Modern devices work across a wide range of skin types, but the settings change from one skin to another (skin tone and hair thickness both matter). That is why the first step is always a consultation to set the device and settings for your skin.

How many laser hair-removal sessions will I need?

There is no single number for everyone: it depends on your skin tone, hair colour and the body area. The consultation sets out a clear session schedule for each area.

Is the result permanent?

Laser reduces hair growth strongly over the long term, but "permanent" is exactly what we avoid promising: some areas need top-up sessions after the base plan. I explain the expectations at the first consultation, without exaggeration.

Does it hurt?

The feeling varies by area and by person, and most people describe it as a quick snap rather than strong pain. If this worries you, say so at the consultation and we will calibrate the device settings to your comfort.

What should I do to prepare before a session?

The main one: do not wax or pluck in the weeks before your session, because the laser needs the hair present in its follicle; plain shaving is what we recommend. Final details are confirmed at the consultation for your skin.

Why are laser sessions spaced out?

The laser works best on a hair during its growth cycle, so the spaced sessions are what lets it cover the new hair in order; that is how the results build up.

What do the pulse packages mean?

Laser hair removal at the clinic is counted in pulses, not by area: you pick a package (3,000, 5,000 or 10,000 pulses) and use it across the months of your plan; the larger package has the cheaper per-pulse price. The calculator on the appointment page shows the cost for you.

Which areas? What is included and what is excluded?

Areas are set by body zone and hair type, and the schedule is decided at the consultation. The clinic-wide exception: laser on men’s private areas is not offered; that service is for women only.

Skin & laser treatments

How does fractional laser work?

Fractional laser works on precise micro-points in the skin rather than the whole surface, which pushes the skin to regenerate gradually from within. It is used for things like acne scars and texture refinement; the number of sessions is set at the consultation.

Is there peeling or sensitivity after fractional laser?

Skin after fractional laser needs careful sun protection and proper care, and I explain that to you in detail at the consultation. We do not deal in absolute promises; the answers are complete only when your own skin is examined.

What does carbon laser do?

A carbon laser session is a quick skin-cleaning treatment that leaves the skin clearer and smoother, working as a light peel and pore refinement. It suits periodic care or before an occasion; the consultation decides if it fits your skin.

Does HydraFacial actually help?

HydraFacial is a deep clean with nourishment, working on hydration and instant glow, and it works best as part of periodic care rather than a treatment for a specific condition. It fits into plans with fractional laser or exosomes depending on the case.

What is Cosmelan for pigmentation?

Cosmelan is a cold peel made specifically for pigmentation, and it needs a strict commitment to sun protection afterwards. I explain the required commitment before you start, because the result is tied to it.

What do face exosomes add?

Exosomes are regeneration factors that support skin glow and hydration, used on their own or with sessions like HydraFacial and laser. If you are interested, the consultation is the right place to set the suitable session schedule.

Skin boosters or fillers: what is the difference?

Filler restores or improves volume in specific areas, while skin boosters work on general hydration and freshness inside the skin. They are different tools, and choosing the right one for your features and concerns is decided at the consultation.

Are the products genuine?

Yes: original American Allergan Botox, and Juvederm fillers, with the box opened in front of you at the consultation. The genuine product is a basic requirement for safety and results.

Botox & fillers

How does Botox work?

Botox softens the muscle movement that has been folding lines over time, and every case starts with the plan the consultation explains before you decide. At our clinic it is original American Allergan Botox, and the session includes a review visit after two weeks.

When do Botox results appear and how long do they last?

As a general picture, the first effect appears within days, the result settles by about two weeks, and it lasts a few months, varying from person to person. The two-week review visit keeps the assessment precise before you decide anything further.

How many syringes of filler will I need?

Always according to the case: one syringe can be enough, another case needs more, and the decision is made at the consultation after we see the area. The price per syringe is published on the site.

Will filler look natural?

The art here is in the measure, not the quantity: we work with Juvederm by deliberate standards so the result reads "refreshed" rather than "done". The important things are agreed at the consultation: few areas, natural effect, and follow-up.

Common skin problems

Do I really need a consultation before any treatment?

Because your skin is not like anyone else's: what worked for a friend can be wrong for you. The 30-minute consultation examines your skin properly and picks the treatment on that basis, with its price published from the start.

Does acne come back?

Acne is one of the most common skin problems, and it is treated step by step, not overnight. We start with the basics, and if the plan needs fractional laser, HydraFacial or face exosomes, I explain why it was chosen.

My acne left scars: can they be treated?

Acne scars have clear treatment paths, with fractional laser among the most important, but the consultation comes first: the scar type decides the treatment.

Can dark spots and pigmentation be treated?

Pigmentation has several solutions such as fractional laser, HydraFacial and face exosomes, and each suits particular cases. The fastest way to find your match: a consultation, and a clear decision from me.

Oily skin: does it still need moisturiser?

Oily skin needs moisturising too, with products made for it: well-chosen hydration steadies the oil response. The right routine is chosen at the consultation, not from adverts.

A change in a mole or patch: should I worry?

If you notice a change in colour, an old spot changing shape, anything unusual, that is reason enough for a consultation: most changes are simple, but "simple" is what the clinic establishes with a quick assessment.

I am pregnant: are sessions postponed?

Yes; some sessions are postponed during pregnancy for safety. Message us on WhatsApp before you book and we will tell you what is available now, with the rest of the plan after delivery. Health comes first.

Everyday skin care

Is sunscreen only for summer?

No; the sun affects skin all year round, strongly in Egypt's climate: sunscreen is a daily routine, and anyone doing peels or laser must be even stricter about it. Choosing the right type is explained at the consultation.

Do I need a complicated routine?

No; for most people a simple, consistent routine is enough: cleanse, moisturise, sunscreen, and additions only according to your skin. Piling on products can irritate the skin itself; it does not help.

Influencer skincare products: will they fix my skin?

Treat them with care: some products help specific conditions but are not a treatment, and the honest way to choose is to try a small amount on a limited area and confirm with a consultation what suits you.

Services for men

Do you treat men?

Absolutely, the full line-up is yours: dermatology consultation, skin cleansing and refining, carbon laser, HydraFacial, fractional laser, Botox and fillers, laser hair removal, and the hair-loss treatments (hair growth factors, hair exosomes, hair PRP). Our hours and prices are the same for everyone. The one exception from the entire menu: intimate-area hair removal for men is not offered; that service is for women only.

Not just hair loss: what else for men?

Men get the full line-up: general dermatology consultation, carbon laser cleansing, HydraFacial, laser hair removal, as well as the hair-loss treatments. Appointments and prices are the same for everyone, no difference.

Oily skin, shaving and acne for men specifically?

Recurrent shaving and irritation are handled with a tailored plan: cleansing with laser or carbon, a moisturising routine for your skin, and hair-removal laser if the excess hair is your concern. The consultation starts from your actual case, not a template.

Is anything on the menu not available to men?

Almost nothing: every service is available to men. Consultation, skin cleansing and refining, carbon laser, HydraFacial, fractional laser, Botox and fillers, and laser hair removal. The one exception: intimate-area hair removal is not offered for men; that service is for women only. Everything else on the list is available as normal.

Hair loss & treatment

Is hair shedding normal or a problem?

A small daily amount of shedding is normal, but once the amount rises or thinning shows clearly in specific areas, that is consultation time: the cause is identified first, and the plan follows it directly.

What hair treatments does the clinic have?

The list includes hair growth factors, hair exosomes, and hair PRP, and each fits a particular stage. The plan and session order are built at the consultation, not from a fixed template for everyone.

Is hair loss different for men and women?

Yes; the pattern and the causes are usually different, which is why a men's plan differs from a women's plan even when the treatment itself is the same. The consultation identifies the pattern and works from it.

These answers are general, simplified explanations; they are not a substitute for a consultation. Your case is assessed at the consultation, and the plan and published prices follow from that.
